Frequently Asked Questions!

Vondre' and Andreaetta, The Cake Couple

Do you remember being in grade school? There was always a question that everyone wanted to ask, but no one raised their hand to say it. Here are a few questions that people commonly want answers for.

1. What is the Sell Cakes Like Crazy Course?

The Sell Cakes Like Crazy Course was developed by Vondre' and Andreaetta Whaley (The Cake  Couple)  and is the only marketing course on the internet designed to help cake bakers get more customers.

2. How do I know the Sell Cakes Like Crazy Course will help me?

All the marketing strategies and techniques in the course have been used effectively by the cake couple. They continue to use all the tips, promotions, and methods in the course to build a thriving cake business.

3. I have purchased many cake related books and programs. What makes yours different?

Sell Cakes Like Crazy.com promotes products to help you get more customers. Most cake related books barely touch on the subject. As a matter of fact, there is no other site on the internet that teaches you cake marketing like we do. Plus, we give you cake and decorating tips too!

4. What credentials do you have for teaching cake marketing and stuff about cakes in general?

The Cake Couple have been baking cakes for over 10 years. Andreaetta has one numerous of cake awards including the 2002 and 2003 Best Cake Award. This is a competition between about 600 bakers throughout the east coast. Vondre' has 15 plus years in developing marketing systems for small businesses.

5. Do you need a special license to bake cakes from home?

It would be virtually impossible to tell you all the rules and regulations of your area as it relates to baking cakes from home. Each local county or city has different requirements. Some places have very basic rules and others have more detailed guidelines.

It makes sense to call your local government offices to ask questions. It may take a few phone calls, but youíll eventually get to the right person.

Here are a few tips to consider when talking with local government agencies:

1. Make it clear that you are only preparing cakes and icing and you will not be preparing any other food products.

2. Make it clear that you deliver cakes and no one will be picking cakes up from your location.

Another great place to get guidance is your local supply stores such as Michaelís. You can meet other cake business owners and seek advice about getting started.

If your area requires that you must have a commercial kitchen, itís a good idea to get an agreement with a daycare center, church, or small restaurant to use their kitchen facility during the off hours.

Some people get started with their cake business and work out the kinks after establishing a good clientele. Others would rather get the legal stuff out of the way first. Itís really a matter of choice.

Either way, itís important to learn the marketing skills necessary to get customers and build a thriving business.

6. How are products shipped?

All products at Sell Cakes Like Crazy.com are shipped within 24 hours of your order through USPS Priority Mail. Generally, it only takes 2-4 days to get anywhere in the country.

7. Do you offer any type of support?

We are real people who answer questions through e-mail daily. We also have a discussion forum set up to answer questions and learn new marketing ideas. We even return phone calls, which is very rare on the internet.
